Jan Hugo doesn’t host The Relocated South African because he has all the answers. He hosts it because he remembers what it’s like to know nothing about relocating from South Africa, and choosing to go anyway.
Before his own emigration in 2020, Jan built an unconventional career spanning banking boardrooms and helicopter cockpits. His path was as unique as the South African relocation stories he now shares with our global community.
He started by documenting his own emigration experience. Then he turned on the mic to share others’ journeys.
